A precision manufacturing company has bought an airpark industrial building in Chandler.

Gilbert-based East Valley Precision has bought a building near Loop 101/Price Road and Chandler Fashion Center for a manufacturing machine shop.

EVP will keep its Gilbert home and use the Chandler space at the Stellar Airpark for an expansion.

It bought the 15,097-square-foot property for just under $1.8 million.

NAI Horizon Senior Vice President Mark Wilcke represented the Gilbert company.

East Valley Precision does omputer numerical control milling, waterjet cutting and other machining in aluminum, stainless steel, plastics and other raw materials.

“East Valley Precision is in expansion mode and this property will allow for that growth,” Wilcke said. “Available free-standing industrial buildings with yard area in the East Valley are getting more and more difficult to find. The demand is there and the supply is limited.”

The Chandler space includes offices and taxiway access.

The seller was Tice Family LLC of South Lyon, Michigan and was represented by Kent Hanson of Cushman & Wakefield.
