Four Businesses Bring New Jobs to Mesa

Mesa officials are boasting the news of nearly 2,000 new jobs in the city, coming from four different businesses.

Topping the list with 970 expected employees is the announcement by Santander Consumer USA Holdings that it will open an office in Centrica, 1550 W. Southern Ave., in Mesa’s Fiesta District.

American Traffic Solutions plans to relocate its 500 employees from Tempe and Scottsdale to the recently completed Waypoint office development next to Mesa Riverview, 1150 N. Alma School Road and new the Chicago Cubs Training ballpark.

National General Lender Services plans to hire 400 people for its new office, also in the Fiesta District, at 827 W. Grove.

And, GO Financial will add 200 employees to the 350 workers already in Mesa, who will soon work out of the new home office at 7465 E. Hampton Ave.

  • Santander is a consumer finance company focused on vehicle finance and third-party service. It plans to open in Mesa in January. Within three years, 970 jobs will be created with an average salary of $51,000.Santander’s headquarters are in Dallas, TX.
  • American Traffic Solutions sells speed, red light and school bus stop arm safety cameras. It also sells fleet toll payment equipment. Employees are to move to the Mesa site within a few weeks.
  • National General is a mortgage and auto loan company and handles insurance tracking and customer service calls.
  • GO Financial is a subprime auto finance company.
